VzScan is an application where a registered user can create items and for each item the registered user can upload an image or multiple images and have that associated to a single target URL. All users can use the scanning portion of the app where in they can scan an image if the scanned image matches one of the images that was previously uploaded the associated url is returned and that associated URL is run in an overlay pane. The target url could be a video or a web site or pdf file. There are two main sections to this application. Any general user can scan images and if the scanned image matches one that was already uploaded then the associated target URL is run in an overlay panel. For a user to create items and upload images he needs to register and have his registration validated before he can log in and use the application. This is a free application and there is no payment to download and use this app, neither there is any in-app purchase. The overall use of this app is for allowing vendors to give their users a user experience beyond printed media with an augmented reality feature.
